Freedom and Axorith can both block apps and websites on Windows, but they are designed around different boundaries. Freedom is a cross-device blocker with account-based synchronization. Axorith is a local Windows workspace orchestrator that combines blocking with application launching, projects, session rules and optional Home Assistant actions.

Choose Freedom when
Your distractions move between devices.
Freedom is the clearer choice when one blocking session needs to cover a Windows PC, phone, tablet and other supported devices. Its free tier already includes app and website blocking, while recurring sessions, advance scheduling and Locked Mode are Premium features.
Choose Axorith when
The Windows workspace itself is the thing you want to automate.
Axorith is built around desktop context. The preset can launch applications and projects, control blockers, schedule the session and define what happens at the end. It does not try to synchronize the same block across every device you own.
